Vespa LT 150 3V IE Jiwa muda serba baru



Pengimport tunggal dan rasmi skuter Vespa di Malaysia iaitu NAZA Premira Sdn Bhd telah memperkenalkan satu lagi ahli baharu kepada keluarga skuter mereka iaitu Vespa LT 150 3V IE. Pelancaran model ini di ibu negara turut dihadiri oleh Menteri Perdagangan Antarabangsa dan Industri Yang Berhormat Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamad, Pengerusi Eksekutif Kumpulan dan Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Kumpulan NAZA World Datuk Wira Hj. SM Faisal Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin, Pengarah Urusan Piaggio Asia Pacific Ltd Encik Simone Niccolai,  dan Duta Besar Itali ke Malaysia TYT Mario Sammartino.

Vespa sentiasa mengekalkan kesederhanaan dan tetap setia dengan gaya vintaj asal dalam evolusi nya sepanjang 68 tahun lepas.'Jiwa muda' sinonim dengan kualiti deskriptif seperti bertenaga, bergaya, bersemangat dan dinamik. Ciri ciri ini lah yang dipertengahkan dalam modelbaru Vespa LT150 3V IE ini. Ia dikuasakan oleh enjin satu silinder 3-injap suntikan bahan api elektronik sejukan udara, gerek dan lejang baharu, dengan aci-engkol kurang eseran. Versi terbaru daripada model asas Vespa LT 150 ini mengekalkan DNA unik Vespa, telah secara halus dipertingkatkan dan digabungkan dengan teknologi Piaggio terkini untuk memnghasilkan sebuah skuter premium yang inovatif, bergaya dan pilihan yang sesuai sebagai motosikal permulaan untuk pemilik motosikal kali pertama.

Model ini mempunyai pelana dwiwarna dengan logo bersulam Vespa dan juga bendera Itali pada kedua-dua belah sisi sebagai penghormatan kepada akar-umbi Itali nya itu. Penggunaan lampu bulat menyerlahkan lagi garis-lengkungnya, dilengkapi penghadang belakang yang tersembul, alas kaki, dan warna hitam menyerlahkan lagi penutup sisi, cermin pandangan belakang, pelana dan rim.

"Vespa Malaysia telah melalui pertumbuhan yang besar dan semakin popular dalam pasaran Malaysia, dengan lebih ramai orang mengenali jenama ini sebagai produk gaya hidup dan bukan hanya satu cara untuk mobiliti pengangkutan. Jumlah jualan semasa pada tahun 2014 telah mengatasi jumlah jualan sasaran dengan ketara, setelah merekodkan pertumbuhan 250% berbanding 2013," ujar Pengerusi Eksekutif Kumpulan dan Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Kumpulan NAZA World, Datuk Wira Haji SM Faisal Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin.

Pada masa ini, Vespa Malaysia mempunyai 18 pengedar diiktiraf di Semenanjung Malaysia yang mematuhi sepenuhnya Identiti Korporat Vespa (CI). NAZA Premira menjemput mana-mana pihak yang berminat untuk menjadi sebahagian daripada rangkaian peniaga Vespa di Semenanjung Malaysia dan Malaysia Timur untuk mengukuhkan lagi kehadiran jenama tempatan.

Vespa Malaysia akan memberi tumpuan kepada pengembanan rangkaian pengedar dan meningkatkan perkhidmatan selepas jualan untuk mewujudkan akses yang mudah bagi jumlah pelanggan Vespa yang semakin berkembang. "Kami bertekad untuk menyediakan akses mudah bagi pemilik Vespa dan juga rakyat Malaysia, kepada jenama yang terkenal di seluruh dunia ini, agar mereka dapat merasai gaya hidup premium Vespa yang seiring dengan pemilikan skuter ini," kata Datuk Wira Haji SM Faisal.

Vespa LT 150 3V IE boleh didapati dalam dua warna (merah dan oren) dan dijual pada harga RM9,888 (harga jualan asas).


Piaggio XEvo 400ie






Maxi scooters bridge the gap between the smaller twist 'n' go scooters, and larger capacity geared bikes. Equipped with powerful engines, the slick automatic transmissions makes it easier to weave through a congested city rush hour, while the various cubby holes and luggage areas take care of modern life essentials.

The Piaggio XEvo is an Italian-made scooter, sharing various components and design, and sporting different engines sizes of 125 cc, 250 cc and 400 cc, and is a direct development of the Piaggio X8. All models sport a single-cylinder, 4-stroke, multi-valve engine that meets Euro 3 European emission standards, and have a CVT transmission. The 400 cc model sport a Master liquid-cooled, electronic fuel injection 399 cc engine power output rates 34 bhp/25 kW. The engine produces a nice power delivery, not too many vibes and the ability to find the speed you want and stay there is an easy process. It processes its power in a nice fluid nature, plentiful yet certainly not lumpy and jerky as some large single cylinder scooters can find themselves.

A distinctive element of the X-Evo is its boot, which is a large understeat storage space with 56L capacity. The space is enough for two full-face helmets or objects up to 80 cm long. Remote switches separately opens the front and rear storage compartments. The storage compartment also has a courtesy light. The front shield area, besides the odometer, trip computer and tachometer, provides further space to place small items.

Start the engine, head for the highway, build up the revs, speed limit is reached and that's where the XEvo is staying all day and it is easy to keep a constant view on the speed through a set of easy to read gauges. All the gauges, trip meters, fuel, temp, speed and tacho are comprehensive and easily legible.

The XEvo have a steel tube frame and the front suspension is provided via a 35 mm fork; rear suspension is done via two double-acting hydraulic shock absorbers, with a four-position spring preload adjustment. Braking is performed by two 240 mm front discs and a 240 mm rear disc brake fitted on a 14-inch wheels. The direction indicators double as hazard warning indicators. The rear seat grab handles feature a high grip central insert for extra passenger safety, plus a backrest.

The seating position of this maxi is comfortable, and it is quite easy to move your legs into a number of positions even while on the move, thus avoiding cramping over long periods in the saddle. One thing gfor sure is that the touring capability is far better then your average bike and the storage capability of the Evo would really please you. The added bonus is that you can also use the Evo around town to do your daily errands or commute, practically and in style. Comfortable, reliable and with heaps of power and space under the seat. The Piaggio Xevo 400ie is perfect for commuting to work and for short trips on weekends.
